Bringing together Welsh entrepreneurs, SMEs and industry leaders, DPA Law has launched the West Wales Business Hub. A central platform which will support the local business community.
DPA Law hosts free, monthly events designed to connect and grow businesses in West Wales. Located in the heart of Llanelli, West Wales Business Hub offers invaluable networking opportunities and expert-led workshops. Designed to support business owners and entrepreneurs, the hub addresses the challenges of running and owning a business and the shortage of support throughout Llanelli and Carmarthenshire.
Hosted by Wales’ leading solicitors, DPA Law, and founded by Kathryn Devonald-Davies and Rachel Hughes, West Wales Business Hub creates a supportive environment for businesses to share experiences, offer insights and build connections.
Launched in January, each event covers essential topics. From building a successful career, neurodiversity and how to use apprenticeships for business growth.
Kathryn Devonald-Davies, Co-owner of DPA Law, said, “The response to the hub has been outstanding. There is a lack of networking and business opportunities in the region. As one of Wales’ leading solicitors, we are addressing that gap. We've created more than a series of events, West Wales Business Hub is a thriving community built on genuine connection and support.
We've even had attendees express interest in hosting future sessions. Our speaker list is already growing into next year. At its core, the hub is about empowerment and collaboration.”
Linda Burbage, CEO of LB HR Consultancy and regular attendee of the West Wales Business Hub, said, "The West Wales Business Hub brings together small businesses across the region to network and gain advice on various topics. There is a friendly welcome on arrival, whether you’re new to networking or attending for the first time. West Wales Business Hub offers an exclusive setting - perfect for building meaningful connections, ideal for getting to know your fellow networkers.”
DPA Law welcomes all businesses to join its growing community. The next event takes place on Thursday 1 May 2025. It is hosted by DPA Law and will feature their session “Start with the End in Sight.” This event will cover key topics such as how succession planning varies for each business, the importance of LPAs for business owners and why wills alone aren’t enough.
